Kimberly Hohman, Secretary
Kim Hohman graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High School in Erie County, PA. She developed a love of running young and joined their Middle School Cross Country team. From that time on she has made running a part of her lifestyle. She ran on Fort LeBoeuf’s Cross Country and Track teams all 4 years, earning ALL-COUNTY Cross Country. Kim qualified for the State Cross Country meets her 10th, 11th, and 12th grade years. In Track, she broke the school record of that time in the 1600m and 3200m runs.
After High School, Kim attended Slippery Rock University (SRU) where she majored in Health and Physical Education. She did not compete at the Collegiate level, but continued to run for physical fitness and personal enjoyment. Upon graduating SRU, she taught K-5 Health and Physical Education in the Bethel Park School District while beginning to raise her family. While raising her 4 children, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom. Having more time during the day, she would take her kids on runs in her jogging stroller and running became a part of their everyday routine. She ran her first marathon in 2007 at the Pittsburgh Marathon. From there she has embraced the marathon distance and continues to race. She has completed 10 marathons to date. Her favorite accomplishment is qualifying and running the last 6 Boston Marathons in a row (to date).
Currently, she is the Physical Education teacher at Highland Elementary in the Grove City Area School District, teaching grades K-1. Her family is very active in many different sports throughout the community. Her boys are invested into their wrestling, football, and baseball while her daughter Hannah is now on the Cross Country and Track teams. She lives with her husband Jason and children Hannah, Hunter, Hudson and Heath in Grove City.
